RE: Euro election

Realistically, I can't see the BNP getting into power through the first past the post system.

They were able to get seats in Europe because it's proportional representation.

RE: Euro election

Finding out that the BNP gained two seats gave me a horribly cold shiver running down my spine.

RE: A question to all Christians

Which is why organised religion is full of hypocrisy.

The God portrayed on all of these religions is similar to the dictators we've had over the years.

RE: Abortion

The only situation that abortion could be anyway acceptable in my opinion is that if the pregnancy is continued the mother and child's life would be endangered.

I love the subtle undertones of racism you put in this post. Really nice of you =/

Also, no nation's actions can be glorified in WW2 by any account.

RE: Why Britain should join the Euro

British people don't like change as a general rule.

It's like... if Wimbledon's grass courts were torn up and replaced with clay, there would be a public outcry.

I just don't think that enough people actually want the Euro.

RE: Should the lazy be made to work?

Not all workers are a part of trade unions, and trade unions won't always intervene on individual cases.

Just to clarify, I'm talking about small businesses here, not big corporations.

RE: Why Britain should join the Euro

Dirk, pretty much no one in the UK wants to change to the Euro.

We like our history.
