RE: Time

More importantly, as most peole have already stated, changing this system would mean changing from one thing that most people don't know 100% about to something all people know nothing about. What is a second? You could say it's a second. But a base quantity such as a second has to be derived from s...

Just read this.

I don't know where to post this other than the IDK. The actions of groups around the world, particularly on September 11th 2001 and July the 7th a few years ago here at home; groups who crown themselves with pride with their belief that they fight for Muslims have resulted a global sense of fear and...

Abortion

I personally think that it depends on the case. For example: a 14 year old gets pregnant (discard how) and the family can not raise another kid. The girl is very stressed out about the actual procedure of giving birth and doesn't want to go to school with a big stomach, and deal with the embarrassme...

Israel Armies

Recently the Israeli Army has launched an attack on Gaza Strip IF any of you people heard of it (it's in Palestine, which is now called Israel). Reports say that around 200 people have been killed in this attack. Most of those people were innocent civilians. In my opinion the Israeli Army is ignorin...

RE: Christianity/Catholic

Catholicism is a different, more traditional form of Christianity, even though Christianity was derived from Catholic beliefs. Their core beliefs are identical: Jesus Christ is the Savior and Lord and He died for our sins so that we may be saved. However, Christians disagree with certain aspects of ...

RE: An atheist returns to Christ

Oh God all mighty, thank you for saving all these hopeless little earthlings (sorry, don't take any offense to that, I just love saying that, and it's true, at least for me :D)!

RE: Cannabis

I really see no reason it should be illegal. It's no worse than alcohol. I'd never use it, because I value my mind and my control too much, but I don't see what we gain by making it illegal. If it was just available behind a counter with restricted access, then people would buy some legally. It woul...

RE: Iran - democracy

Well...it was the United States and a CIA operation. What do I win? I don't know anyone who doesn't know that. We were afraid that he was going to make the country become socialists (there was talk of nationalizing the oil wells). If Iran went socialist then the entire middle east would probably fol...

RE: Ice Age

Yeah, I must admit that everyone these days are so focused on global warming.. it's actually not their fault though, global warming is the major concern as another ice age would take at least 20k-30k years for it to reoccur. Al Gore's movie was useless though, but you can say it's good since it woul...
