A Shanghai business delegation to Taiwan notched deals worth more than NT$1.8b Tuesday, according to Taiwan media. At the invitation of the Taiwan External Trade Development Council, the group composed of famous Shanghai based firms, such as Bailian Group and Lianhua supermarket, purchased general merchandise, agricultural products and electronic parts.
Since the mainland and Taiwan better the relationship, the interaction to both sides had been developing rapidly, especially to Taiwan agriculture. Now more and more fruits can be seen in mainland markets, the people in the mainland can enjoy the fresh fruit producted in Taiwan, and in return, the farmers in Taiwan can get better income, which is very helpful to the people living on both sides.
With the pace of communication across the Taiwan Strait, there will be more and more businesses to be done. And as a result, the unification will come ture sooner or later, till then, people in the world can see a strong China.
