Code of Conduct

Post by appleton » Sun Dec 16, 2007 4:43 pm

Please read and abide the following 9 golden rules.

1. Rudeness, personal attacks, and inflammatory/insulting posts are forbidden. This includes racist or homophobic remarks, excessive swearing and any other form of abuse. We reserve the right to remove offensive posts without notice.

2. Please do not double-post or spam the forums; useless, one-word posts and multiple posting, in order to increase your post count, is not allowed.

3. Posts that are sexual in nature, or that violate community standards, are not permitted.

4. While these rules cover most situations, they cannot anticipate everything. We reserve the right to take any action (including banning) we deem appropriate to ensure these forums are not disrupted or abused in any way. Our decision is final in these matters.

5. Religious talk must stay in the Religion forums only. Threads will be moved that are in the wrong category but please avoid putting them in the wrong category.

6. No spamming.

7. No referral links including in signatures. No money making links.

8. One account per person only. Proxy accounts may be banned. If you have problems logging in or registering email admin(at)letpoliticstalk(dot)com with your username if you have one.

9. Names of political figures should be spelt out true and correct.

Other nitbits ;

• Politics is dull if everyone agrees. Political conflict is good as long as everyone is treated with respect and nobody reverts to name calling. We promote good strong, fair debate!
• Help spread our name! We enjoy debating politics on the internet so we all should be able to log on at 3am and find other people awake and doing the same. Invite your friends!
• We aim and strive to cover politics from every nation on the globe. Events in any nation or continent can be discussed here. As the forum gets larger we will add international language sections too.

This can be amended at any time.

Enjoy debating!
