Tonsillitis. Now into my third day of misery. With revision for exams starting in less than two weeks its just a nightmare.

I get tonsil issues often in the winter season. I'm determined not to have them out though

Partially lost my hearing now. Weird.

What is the disadvantages of having them out? I'm not considering it, because this is only my 3rd time I think I have had it.

They exist primarily to stop bacteria from going further down from the throat. They should only be removed when necessary.

yeah I knew that they kill bacteria, but because people have them removed I wondered how necessary they are.

I went to the docs yesterday as I'm still not good. They took my blood to test for glandular fever.
